Our big weekend

So the Spaghetti Monster finally started solids this weekend. The first try did not go well. Let's start with the video:

And he just held most of it in the front of his mouth like that.

When he finally did swallow some, he proceeded to gag and then throw it (and some extra) right back up. Christopher says it was the most he's ever seen Eddie throw up. I can't say that, but it was still a lot.

Luckily, the second attempt (and all subsequent attempts thus far) went better. I credit it to switching from the nasty Nestle rice cereal with three kinds of fat and all kinds of other gross additives to some good ol' hippie organic brown rice cereal that is just rice, vitamins and minerals.

We also went for a walk in the park yesterday, and decided to go to the waterfowl park. We'd intended to go around Wascana Lake, but I had no desire to jockey for position with wakeboarders and the people who watch them.
So Eddie got to check out the geese, ducks and swans. He was absolutely fascinated by them all.

We think we may have started a turf war just before we left-it got noisy and there was much fighting over bread.
